Medicine has been the common thread connecting each stage of my life. My father was a family physician and this inevitably shaped my early impressions of the world. As an adolescent, serious illness took me through many cycles of disease and recovery. From these experiences, I felt compelled to learn everything I could about my illness. The fascinating discoveries I made about my own body grew into a deeper desire to understand the mechanisms that challenge health and the process of healing. I am devoted to helping people find health and this guided me towards a career in Chinese medicine.
My practice has a strong focus on both herbal medicine and acupuncture. I specialize in disorders of the digestive system, and have a personal interest in assisting patients with inflammatory bowel disease. My scope of practice does not end there however, as I regularly treat a variety of disorders – everything from low back pain to allergies.
My professional life:
I graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Following graduation, I journeyed to China and attended the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There, I further developed my herbal and acupuncture skills, focusing my studies in the oncology, digestive, dermatology, and gynecology departments.
I am a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Oregon and am an NCCAOM Nationally Certified Diplomat of Oriental Medicine in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

Chinese Medicine is certainly one of my main passions in life, but I also love to write, sing, and dance. I am married to my polar opposite and we have fun laughing at our differences, watching movies, learning Chinese, and exploring the great outdoors. I have had many adventures around the globe and am thankful to call the Pacific Northwest my home.
